On 3rd March, 2022, H.E. Rafiu Adejare Bello, accompanied by Mrs. Anna Oghenerobo Oladimeji-Ibikunle, First Secretary, attended the 20th edition of EXPO-WOMAN to commemorate International Women’s Day, in Cuautla, Morelos, State of Mexico. The EXPO-WOMAN is held annually by an umbrella organization of professional women in Mexico, to provide multidisciplinary support to women with limited resources, including affordable medical services (gynecology, physiotherapy, and general medicines). It was an opportunity for the Mission to identify with women from all walks of life that are committed to the pursuit and protection of the rights of women and children in Mexico, complementing the efforts of the host government to address inequities in Mexico.
