Ambassador Rafiu Adejare Bello, accompanied by Mrs. Vivienne E. Ogonyi, Minister, presented his Letters of Credence to H.E. (Dr.) Alejandro Giammattei Falla, President of the Republic of Guatemala, on 14th December, 2021, at the National Palace of Culture (a historical edifice that symbolises the zenith of Guatemalan architecture), in Guatemala City. Eleven other Ambassadors from Azerbaijan, Belgium, Ecuador, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Jordan, New Zealand, Norway, and Portugal also presented Credentials to the President. It afforded the opportunity for Ambassador Bello to affirm the commitment and the desire of the Government of Nigeria to continue to strengthen bilateral relations in areas of interest between Nigeria and Guatemala, for tangible mutual benefits to the two countries.
