Ambassador Rafiu Adejare Bello, accompanied by Dr. Yakubu Audu Dadu, Minister, presented his Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, President of the United Mexican States on 14th September, 2021, at the National Palace, office of the President, in Mexico City. Ten (10) other Ambassadors from Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Costa Rica, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, and the United States also presented their Credentials to the President. Discussions between the host President and the Ambassador centered on the desire to advance the scope of bilateral relations and collaborations subsisting between Nigeria and Mexico, considering the shared socio-cultural and economic development experiences and efforts of the two countries, and their respective huge natural resources that provide enormous opportunities for more robust bilateral interchange.
